Packaging Technician (On-Call)

  • The Packaging Technician provides on-site support assembling and packaging products. Responsibilities include packaging, sealing, and labeling products. The Packaging Technician will follow all established procedures and policies while packaging products that meet or exceed strict quality control and compliance standards. Safety, quality, and efficiency are top priorities.

    Description


    • Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized work environment.
    • Efficiently package, label, and seal products while following company procedures, policies, and safety guidelines.
    • Ensure complete compliance to include labels, forms, and packaging
    • Accurately weigh and package cannabis products, paying close attention to detail for quality.
    • Ensure accuracy and completeness while maintaining required packaging volume
    • Cleaning equipment, sanitizing work areas, sweeping throughout the day, mop floors daily, clean & sanitize utensils.
    • Follow all established procedures and policies related to quality control and regulatory compliance.
    • Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals
    • Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching.
    • Flexible and cooperative to meet changing and unexpected deadlines
    • Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Must be 21 years of age
    • Punctual and persistent
    • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
    • Shows self-motivation/innovation and the ability to work well with all members of their staff and the company, as well as with their direct supervisors and follow instructions.
    • Ability to receive constructive criticism from co‐workers.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
    • 1-year experience working in cannabis industry preferred
    • Available to work a flexible schedule
    • Good communication skills
    • Reliable and punctual
    • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
    • Attention to detail
    • Able and patient to do repetitive tasks
    • Ability to learn and use various machines and hand tools
    • Lifting, bending, and reaching.
    • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

    Salary

    $15 - $15 per hour
