Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and a strong background in bodywork, painting, and some mechanical repairs. This role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicle body damage, ensuring that all work meets high-quality standards. The Auto Body Technician will work in a fast-paced environment and must be detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.

Duties

• Perform repairs on damaged vehicle bodies, including sheet metal work and welding.
• Utilize power tools and airless paint spraying equipment to complete repairs and refinishing tasks.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with the auto estimating team to provide accurate assessments of repair costs.
• Replace or repair auto glass as needed to restore vehicles to their original condition.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order.
• Work closely with dealership personnel to ensure customer satisfaction and timely completion of repairs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive repair techniques.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician/ Auto Body Painter or similar role.
• Proficiency in sheet metal work, welding, and automotive repair techniques.
• Familiarity with auto estimating processes and dealership environments is a plus.
• Experience with power tools and airless paint spraying equipment is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
