Overview
CCB&CC is seeking a seasoned Food & Beverage Supervisor to drive growth in hospitality through its Chef driven restaurant, bar, cabanas, and quick service operations at this exclusive beach club. Under the direct supervision of the Food & Beverage Director, the Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for the management of all aspects of Food & Beverage outlet functions, including executing the strategic vision of the club, while maintaining operational excellence.
The Food & Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for building and delivering exceptional hospitality and service levels, operational excellence, and financial success for the club. Collaborating with club management, building, and growing standards of service for special events and club related programs will be a key to success.
Core Responsibilities
· Assist Director of Food & Beverage in maintaining standards in areas such as employee training, station assignments and duties, steps of service for each outlet, and a complete training manual for all front-of-house staff, including managers, bar staff, café staff, cabana staff, and quick service staff.
· Maintain the highest levels of guest service and develop relationships with club members, meeting and greeting guests at the food and beverage outlets and resolving guest issues effectively and with grace.
· Assist with maintenance of day-to-day operations for the food & beverage program, including but not limited to, weekly staff scheduling, submitting payroll, organizing and executing team meetings and outings, training and development, employee relations, disciplinary action, terminations, etc.
· Ensure service standards are being met and exceeded. Offer support to staff when necessary.
· Offer coaching and feedback to associates when standards are not being met. Listen to associate feedback and relay feedback to the Food & Beverage Director.
· Oversee front-of-house service team at all points of service of food and beverages at the club, as determined by Director of Food & Beverage.
· Conduct regular walkthroughs for maintenance in food and beverage outlets to uphold the highest levels of maintenance, cleanliness, organization, and sanitary operations consistent with health codes.
· Work with other on duty leaders to ensure service is seamless, regardless of time of day or manager on duty.
· Participate in weekly meetings with F&B Management. Work on projects assigned during these meetings.
· Assist in hiring, training, and developing staff to execute responsibilities and provide growth opportunities.
· Provide a positive work environment for all employees that is free from harassment, discrimination, and is compliant with all state and federal mandated policies and procedures.
· Maintain complete knowledge and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving.
· Conduct daily pre-shift briefing with the staff and review all information pertinent to the day’s business. Conduct regular training sessions with the team to focus areas of opportunity.
· Ensure all areas are ready for service on a daily basis. This includes, but is not limited to—staff grooming, service materials, table set-ups, organization and ambiance of the dining area, host stand organization, menu pars, etc.
· Responsible for managing F&B operating budget as designated by the Director of F&B. Budget effectively for the department.
· Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
· Full time management position that requires full flexibility, including the ability to work weekends, holidays, and a varied schedule.
· Minimum of two years college education, Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management preferable.
· A solid hospitality background ranging from fine-dining to quick-service operations—a minimum of 3 years hospitality experience.
· Previous supervisory experience, preferably within a restaurant.

Physical Demands
· Must have the ability to move/maneuver in a Food & Beverage environment.
· Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift if necessary. Occasional light lifting (25 lbs.) is required. Position dictates candidate to work under stressful conditions and be subject to irregular hours in order to accomplish tasks as set forth above.
