Feirich/Mager/Green/Ryan (F/M/G/R) is a full service law firm located in Carbondale, Illinois with approximately 23 employees, consisting of 11 attorneys and support staff. F/M/G/R represents clients in legal matters in federal, state, and administrative courts primarily in the southern counties of Illinois and collar counties of St. Louis.

We are looking for a Litigation Paralegal to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal support to attorneys, preparing legal documents, researching legal precedents, and assisting with trial preparation. The ideal candidate will have excellent research and writing skills, the ability to work independently and efficiently, and a strong understanding of the litigation process.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for trial by organizing exhibits, gathering and summarizing information, and preparing witness files.
• Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Organize and maintain files of all legal documents; draft correspondence to clients and opposing counsel.
• Monitor deadlines for filing pleadings, motions, briefs, and other documents.
