Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys in various legal tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of our legal department. Litigation and/or workers' compensation experience, a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as pleadings, contracts, and briefs
- Conduct legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Organize and maintain case files, including indexing and filing documents
- Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Assist in the management of legal cases, including scheduling hearings and depositions
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters
- Prepare correspondence and draft legal memos as directed by attorneys
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness materials
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in legal case management software
- Knowledge of contract law and litigation procedures
- Familiarity with legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Attention to detail and strong proofreading abilities
- Ability to write clearly and concisely
- Project management skills to meet deadlines efficiently

Pay: $27,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
