Park Naturalist plans, develops, and conducts programs to inform the public of historical, natural, and scientific features concerning national, state, or local parks. May require a bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Park Naturalist is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The Naturalist Intern assists the staff naturalists in all facets of the educational and recreational programs as well as upkeep of trails and property of the Outagamie County Parks System at Mosquito Hill Nature Center. Position starts in May 2024.
*Assist or lead age-appropriate ecology and outdoor programs for children and/or the general public.
