Park Naturalist jobs in Clearwater, FL

We are looking for friendly, outgoing personalities, with a positive attitude to make guests excited about their experience at Splash Harbour Water Park!

What You Will Be Doing

• Keep a close eye on swimmers in the pool, lazy river, and other water attractions
• Act as a first-responder and jump in the water to keep guests safe
• Assist guests receiving tubes and cleaning up tubes
• Calculate the proper dispatch interval between riders when operating slide tower
• Provide guests with a safe and enjoyable ride experience
• Keep ride decks, lounge chairs, walkways, etc. clean and looking great
• Clean, maintain, and properly sanitize, restrooms/break room

How You Will Do It

• Ability to work in an environment as fast-paced as our water slides
• Will complete and maintain training and certification
• Understand basic rescue techniques, first aid, and CPR
• Strong attention to detail, not easily distracted, and commitment to safety
• Must react well in stressful and emergency situations

What You Will Need

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to swim 200 yards in 15 minutes, retrieve a 10-pound brick from the bottom of a pool, tread water for two minutes, and lift yourself out of the pool
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
