Treasure Seekers Shell Tours is looking for Florida Master Naturalist / Concierge Shell Guides to operate our private and semi-private tours aboard our luxurious fleet of Sea Pro 248 Bay Boats. Since 2017 Treasure Seekers Shell Tours has been locally owned & operated. Shelling in the Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuge is one of Florida's most unique excursion experiences. Our Concierge Shell Guides/Florida Master Naturalists, USCG Captains, and luxurious fleet of boats with yacht-caliber features ensure a one-of-a-kind carefully curated shelling adventure for our guests.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

• Florida Master Naturalist Certification
• First Aid & CPR certification
• Enrollment and successful completion of drug tests through drug consortium
• Prepare boat for the tour (ice, food, wiping down).
• Guide guests on the island and help them find and identify shells
• Safely load and unload guests
• Must be an avid sheller and know your shells
• Ability to walk 3-5 miles a day
• Clean and stock the on boat post tour

Preferred

• Florida Master Naturalist Certification (Coastal Systems)
• Local knowledge of the Ten Thousand Islands & surrounding waters

Pay: $15.00 - $22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• No nights
• Weekends as needed
