Parking Attendant distributes tickets to customers and collects payments in a parking facility. Directs customers to appropriate parking spaces. Being a Parking Attendant may park and retrieve automobiles in a full-service parking lot or garage. Greets guests and ensures timely service. Additionally, Parking Attendant may require a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Driver's license. Typically reports to a supervisor. JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of the Parking Enforcement Officer I is to collect revenue for the City and maintain a safe parking environment by issuing citations for violations according to city ordinances. The class is responsible for giving citations, checking driver’s licenses, collecting revenues from parking meters, depositing funds in the bank, and issuing citations for other infractions. The class works according to set procedures under direct supervision.

Education and Experience
