Parking Attendant distributes tickets to customers and collects payments in a parking facility. Directs customers to appropriate parking spaces. Being a Parking Attendant may park and retrieve automobiles in a full-service parking lot or garage. Greets guests and ensures timely service. Additionally, Parking Attendant may require a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Driver's license. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Parking Attendant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Will operate sweeper truck and backpack blower to clean parking lots of dirt and debris
Work is performed primarily at night with occasional day work
Work is performed at various retail stores and other sites in the Grand Rapids, Hibbing, and Virginia areas
Will have set weekly schedule of nights to perform services for each location
Work is performed year-round for some customers
Will help with snow removal during the winter months
Pay is negotiable and includes incentive pay
