Parking Attendant distributes tickets to customers and collects payments in a parking facility. Directs customers to appropriate parking spaces. Being a Parking Attendant may park and retrieve automobiles in a full-service parking lot or garage. Greets guests and ensures timely service. Additionally, Parking Attendant may require a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Driver's license. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Parking Attendant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. LICENSE REQUIRED: Must obtain and hold a Class II gaming license while employed and complete an annual background check with TGA.
EXTENT OF JOB AUTHORITY: Provide safe, on-time professional-level transportation service for casino and hotel guests. Have an excellent driving record. Excellent guest service skills and passenger assistance required. The ability to work with a variety of individuals and personalities in a mature and professional manner at all times. Authority to report safety hazards or unsafe conditions to uphold the integrity of the casino.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR POSITION: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift up to seventy five pounds (75lb). The ability to bend, reach, squat, stand or sit for long periods of time in all types of weather conditions.
SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR POSITION: Able to learn and follow detailed written and verbal instructions. Excellent communication and guest relations skills. Physical ability to perform all job duties. The ability to remain alert at all times to all surroundings and events. Good report writing skills. Must present a driver’s abstract to Human Resources prior to employment and must maintain a clean driving record during the length of employment. Must be able to pass Legends Casino Hotel internal driving test. Must be 25 years of age or older.
