Summary:

Direct and assist parking & recycling staff in completion of parking & recycling responsibilities, including scheduling.  Ensures set-up and take down of the paid parking lot and closes out all transactions generated and delivers till to reconciliation at the end of the shift.  Assist guests and employees with parking efficiently.  Greet guests coming to Grand Targhee Resort.  Assist with and delegate staff to run the parking lot shuttle on weekends, holidays, and when needed in between.  Collect, sort, store, and assist with transporting sorted recycling to off-site facilities.  A key part of every Base Area employee's job is to assist all Base Area departments when staffing levels determine a need and serve as a Targhee ambassador, by engaging the guest at every opportunity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for consistent delivery of high quality guest service, presentation, and cleanliness in all phases of parking & recycling.
• Hires, motivates, evaluates, schedules, directs, and assists staff to ensure adequate guidance and appropriate staffing levels to accomplish established goals and objectives.  Ensures that all employees receive the training, support, guidance, feedback and resources necessary to service guests consistently.  Must delegate responsibility, motivate, support and lead direct reports to achieve goals and objectives.
• Monitors, executes, & evaluates operation to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in distribution of staff and resources in areas of responsibility.
• Maintain and help organize the parking plan and order in all parking lots.  Assist in directing guests and employees to appropriate parking locations.
• Coordinate staff and assist with the operation of the parking lot shuttles on weekends, holidays, and as needed in between.
• Direct and assist team members with the collection of solid materials from recycling containers in resort common areas as directed.
• Separate, store, and bail recycling materials as directed.
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment (Forktruck) to empty recycle bins when full.
• Exhibit a professional, courteous and friendly attitude at all times.
• Assist with other duties as required.
