Financial Advisor Magazine is seeking a Sales Support Specialist. In this role you will assist the sales team by providing administrative support and ensuring smooth operations within the sales department. You will also be responsible for managing various sales-related tasks, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service to clients. Sales Support Specialists serve as a bridge between the sales team and other departments, facilitating communication and coordination to ensure successful sales outcomes. 

This is a hybrid position, two days in our office in Shrewsbury, NJ and three days remote. Being available for the work hours of 9am – 5pm is paramount. Our clients and internal staff will need you to respond to them promptly during this timeframe. We are in our busiest sales season of the year, if you cannot commit to the full-time needs of this role please consider before applying.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:  

• Process sales orders in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Communicate with clients to address concerns and inquiries
• Assist in the preparation and generation of sales reports
• Maintain client databases, update customer records 
• Work with internal teams to schedule all programs 
• Coordinate and track sales leads
• Monitor the progress of sales activities in Salesforce and MediaRadar 
• Provide regular updates to the sales team
• Perform general administrative and/or additional tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience with billing procedures
• Fluent with Excel spreadsheets
• Solid knowledge of sales processes including inventory management and customer service
• Ability to prioritize client order intake
• High attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry, record-keeping, and order processing
• Experience with using Salesforce CRM
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities 
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities
