Parts Inventory identifies, inspects, coordinates, and processes parts to be exchanged. Dispatches material and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments. Being a Parts Inventory monitors all backorders and communicates and provides technical assistance to parts sales, customers, and branches. Updates and monitors the Parts Inventory database and places orders as needed. Additionally, Parts Inventory generates progress reports on schedule status, parts usage, and inventory and keeps records of completed orders. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Parts Inventory works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Our growing family owned and operated Used Auto Parts Yard is looking for a dedicated, passionate Inventory Specialist to join our tight knit team of used parts processionals. The primary responsibilities of this role will be recording all vehicles purchased for salvage parts, ensuring all paperwork IE: title is valid, with vehicle and uploaded into software, inventorying all usable parts from purchased vehicles, assign stock numbers, scribe all usable parts with identifying numbers. All work is completed from handheld computer device.
