Parts Manager supports the parts department with technical, procedural, inventory control, and parts exchange support. Manages material and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments. Being a Parts Manager monitors and troubleshoots all backorders and communicates and provides technical assistance to parts sales, customers, and branches. Monitors the parts inventory database and places orders as needed. Additionally, Parts Manager reviews progress reports on schedule status, parts usage, and inventory and makes necessary adjustments. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Parts Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Parts Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. We currently operate three trailer parts stores in Central and Southern Maryland. We are seeking TWO candidates for assistant manager positions at our Stevensville and Annapolis, MD locations. We are moving one person UP into the GSM position, and the other one is Retiring. We are looking for energetic candidates to join our strong, professional team of qualified managers at our current locations and expand the number of successful stores we operate.
Desired Skills:
· Strong mechanical aptitude/background
· Prior Auto/Truck/Marine parts or service experience
· Moderate computer skills – Microsoft Office

Duties:
· Assist customers and build rapport
· Order and manage inventory
· Receive and stock parts
· Process Invoices

· Open and close the store
Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:
· Must be available to work a flexible schedule that will include alternating Saturdays
· Must be able to lift, pull, carry, push up to 100 lbs.
· Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
· High school diploma or GED
· Pass an employment background check, and random drug testing
