Pastor directs religious services and all daily operations of an organization. Provides spiritual leadership, guidance, and assistance to members. Being a Pastor supervises church staff and associated administrative businesses to ensure operational needs are met. Designs and oversees outreach and educational programs and events to support the community. Additionally, Pastor coordinates volunteers to ensure community outreach goals are fulfilled. Performs religious services, leads prayer, and conducts worship. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a regional or chapter manager. Strategic Development of Marriage Ministry
Oversee all married couple groups and ensure that all marriage ministry events and programs lead people toward small group connection
Develop a culture of continuous improvement by seeking feedback from Seacoast Leadership, small group coaches and leaders, and small group participants
Develop an effective communication strategy to promote marriage ministry programs and events
Create and implement an annual connection strategy for married couples that integrate with campus-specific and campus-wide initiatives (Connect Weekends, Alignment Series, etc.)
Maintain accurate metrics on marriage ministry to determine progress in small group ministry
Analyze participation trends within small group ministry and events to optimize current strategies that increase quantity and quality of small group ministry
Analyze budget and expenses for marriage Ministry
Collaborate effectively with administrative support staff and other Seacoast departments to achieve immediate ministry objectives and annual growth goals.
Collaborate with Conference Team to plan and execute all marriage conference events
Oversee and Develop marriage ministry events/programs that foster small group engagement: ie: Re | Engage, MarriedLife programs
Leadership Development
Recruit, train, and develop new small group leaders and coaches to meet increasing leadership demands
Develop an annual training strategy to meet the needs of new and existing small group leaders
Identify and equip coaches who can effectively support and encourage small group leaders
Build relationships with core team, coaches and small group leaders to establish trust, mutual respect and spiritual leadership
Collaborate with Seacoast Leadership on any campus-specific or campus-wide leadership training initiatives
Pastoral Responsibilities:
Assist in providing pastoral support for married and engaged couples
Assist in officiating weddings, funerals, baptisms, etc.
Participate in minister-on-call rotation
Accountable Team Member
Actively participate in Connect Team Meetings and attend in monthly All-Staff meetings
Manage weekly follow up process relevant to Marriage ministry
Support weekend service operations (Saturday night, Sunday morning, Sunday night), First Wednesday services, holiday services and conferences or special events.
Support the goals of Small Groups by demonstrating teamwork and performing other duties as requested
