Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join us at Newbern First Baptist Church as our Youth Pastor. As our Youth Pastor, you will play a vital role in guiding and mentoring young individuals in their spiritual journey. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our youth and help them develop their faith.

Duties:
- Provide spiritual guidance and support to youth members of the congregation
- Plan and lead engaging youth group activities, including Bible studies, worship services, retreats, and community service projects
- Deliver inspiring and relevant sermons during youth services
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for youth to express themselves and explore their faith
- Offer Christian counseling and support to youth facing personal challenges or crises
- Develop and implement educational programs that promote spiritual growth and discipleship among youth
- Collaborate with other church leaders to coordinate events, programs, and initiatives that involve youth
- Serve as a positive role model for youth, demonstrating Christian values and principles in all interactions

Skills:
- Excellent public speaking skills to effectively communicate messages of faith to youth
- Strong mentoring abilities to guide and support young individuals in their spiritual journey
- Crisis management skills to provide emotional support during challenging times
- Knowledge of Christian counseling principles to offer guidance and support to youth facing personal challenges

- Strong organization skills when it comes to all aspects of the job.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present information in a clear and engaging manner
- Conflict management skills to address conflicts or disagreements among youth members
- Strong leadership qualities to inspire and motivate youth towards spiritual growth

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in theology, ministry, or a related field (preferred)
- Ordination or licensing as a pastor (preferred)
- Experience working with youth in a church or ministry setting (preferred)
- Deep understanding of Christian teachings and principles
- Passion for working with young individuals and helping them develop their faith
