Pastor directs religious services and all daily operations of an organization. Provides spiritual leadership, guidance, and assistance to members. Being a Pastor supervises church staff and associated administrative businesses to ensure operational needs are met. Designs and oversees outreach and educational programs and events to support the community. Additionally, Pastor coordinates volunteers to ensure community outreach goals are fulfilled. Performs religious services, leads prayer, and conducts worship. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a regional or chapter manager. The Pastor typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Pastor typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     He must be able to confidently present the Gospel of Jesus Christ through his preaching, teaching, discipleship and demonstrate a commitment to continued spiritual and professional growth and development. Sunday sermons are a primary responsibility.
    The quintessential candidate is a natural spiritual mentor, wholly dedicated to God, his family, and the church, be loving to all and approachable by every generation.

    Our congregation is praying for a man who knows he is being called by God to lead a small town church. PSBC has been in continual operation since its inception in the mid 1800's and we offer a contemporary service, sound stage for live worship, tech/audio team for audio/visual support for Sunday sermons and live streaming services to our Youtube channel.
