The Director of Admissions is responsible for timely and accurate responses to referrals in order to bring patients into the building. The coordinator needs to ensure that all residents that are accepted are appropriately placed within the facility and staff is appropriately prepared to care for the admission. Although interdisciplinary effort is required, the Director of Admissions includes but is not limited to; response to referral inquiries, facility tours, sales calls, discharge planning, QAPI, harmonious workplace, customer service, assures resident safety, policies and procedures, federal and state compliance. The Director of Admissions must lead by example by promoting positive morale within their department and throughout the facility by smiling and greeting residents, families and all employees. Reports directly to the Administrator, does related work accordingly;
