Pastry Chef - Casino jobs in District of Columbia

Bakery in NW DC is looking to add someone to our pastry team. We have a great staff, wonderful customers and the ability to create some of country's top pastry's. Come join our James Beard Awarding winning bakery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Measure and weigh ingredients accurately by following recipes
• Prepare and bake pastries, desserts, other confections, as well as decorate cakes daily accordingly
• Assist pastry chef and/or team mates with orders and requests as needed
• Able to work weekends, holidays as required

• Propose ideas and work closely with chef to create new and exciting desserts, renew our menus and engage the interest of customers

Looking for full or part-time candidates. Hours flexible for the right candidate.

Experience is preferred but a background in culinary arts will be considered.

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
