Pastry Chef - Casino is responsible for preparation of desserts and other baked goods according to established recipes or customer requests. Ensures pastry quality and guest satisfaction. Being a Pastry Chef - Casino requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to an executive pastry chef. The Pastry Chef - Casino works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. We have a Pastry Chef position open.
Looking for hard working, talented person to keep our strong desserts sales on track.
We make everything from scratch and do all in house baking, chocolate work, ice creams and breads.
Applicant should have a knowledge of custards, cakes, dessert sauces and a artist eye for plating, A fun kitchen that is more than opening #10 cans and pulling items from a freezer.
Qualifications should include a minimum of 3 years in kitchens, solid knife skills, and experience with scratch cooking.
Reliable transportation is a must. A safe kitchen to work in. 5 shifts a week: wed to saturday dinner service and Sunday brunch. Monday Tuesdays off.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
