Patent Attorney determines potential of granting patents on inventions or trademarks, and monitors possibility of infringement. Responsible for preparing and filing patent applications and trademark registrations, litigating pending applications and registrations, and reporting possible violations. Being a Patent Attorney prosecutes violations of organization's registrations and/or patents. Requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Additionally, Patent Attorney requires admittance to a state bar. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Patent Attorney work is closely managed. Feldman & Lee provides misdemeanor indigent defense services for six cities in Snohomish County through our Lynnwood and Marysville offices.
We currently an associate attorney opening in our Marysville office for a WA licensed attorney. The attorney will integrate with existing attorneys to provide full time misdemeanor indigent defense services pursuant to these contracts.

While we have been operating in a hybrid work environment since Covid, the courts we work in are requiring more in person appearances. The ability to attend in person court hearings multiple times per week is required.
Salary is dependent upon experience, but we start associates with a year or less of experience at $80,000 a year. We offer competitive medical/dental/vision benefits available. Also 401K eligibility with employer match, after 1 year.
Prior criminal defense experience is preferred but not required.
Interviews will be conducted either in person or remotely through Zoom.
