Additionally, Patent Attorney requires admittance to a state bar. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Patent Attorney work is closely managed. The Department of the Prosecuting Attorney, City and County of Honolulu, is looking for fill vacant deputy prosecuting attorney positions to handle legislative matters at the state and county levels for the Department. Applicants must be licensed to practice law in the State of Hawaiՙi and be in good standing before the Hawaiՙi Supreme Court at the time of hire. The ideal applicant should have strong analytical skills, be comfortable with both oral and written communications, exhibit high ethical standards, and show a commitment to public safety. Legislative experience (drafting bills, writing testimony and testifying) and knowledge in criminal law is preferred.
