We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an Executive Laboratory Assistant to support the Manager of our laboratory. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Lab Manager in various tasks, including but not limited to quality assurance processes, laboratory quality management, aiding in the maintenance of procedure manuals, following up on assigned tasks, and stepping in to fulfill lab assistant duties when necessary. The role requires flexibility in working hours to align with the laboratory needs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the management team to ensure seamless execution of tasks and projects.
• Follow up on assignments given by the Lab Manger, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Assist in the development, maintenance, and updating of procedure manuals, accreditation documentation and quality assurance processes.
• Support the management team in achieving and maintaining accreditation standards.
• Perform laboratory assistant duties such as sample preparation, equipment maintenance, and data entry as needed (no experience required).
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., biology, chemistry, or related scientific discipline) preferred.
• Previous experience in a laboratory setting is highly desirable.
• Supervision, staff development and training experience desired but not required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the Lab Manager's schedule.
