Patient Care Coordinator / Dental Receptionist

Growing pediatric dental practice in Huntington, New York looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, team-oriented Patient Care Coordinator / Dental Receptionist.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Greet patients politely and professionally immediately upon arrival

• Schedule patient appointments and enter information into dental software.

• Update patient records to ensure accurate information.

• Check patient communication software and retrieve voicemails for appointment requests, confirmations, and reviews.

• Review unscheduled list in software to fill scheduling gaps due to cancellations.

• Verify insurance coverage for all patients.

• Discuss financial responsibility of patient and collect payment.

• Maintain cleanliness of work space and waiting room area.

• Complete daily paperwork as required.

• Performs other duties as requested.

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience: 2 years experience preferred.
