Being a Patient Intake Clerk may be expected to perform other admissions related clerical work. Verifies patient insurance and ensures registration forms are properly signed. In addition, Patient Intake Clerk typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to supervisor and/or manager. Being a Patient Intake Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Job Summary
