Paving, Surfacing, and Tamping Equipment Operator jobs in Idaho
Paving, Surfacing, and Tamping Equipment Operator operates a mechanical machine to lay gravel, stone, and cold-mix asphalt on road surfaces. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Paving, Surfacing, and Tamping Equipment Operator is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Paving, Surfacing, and Tamping Equipment Operator performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. This position will require you to be able to work both independently and as a team player. Travel WILL BE required potentially for long periods of time and working in extreme weather conditions should be expected. Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends.
