Radiology of Huntsville (ROH) is the largest, most highly specialized radiology practice in North Alabama.

ROH provides general and specialty radiology coverage to six Alabama hospitals, two breast centers, ten outpatient imaging centers and multiple physician offices.

Position Description:

Responsible for identifying and posting EOB commercial and personal payments to patient accounts.

Specific Responsibilities of the Job:

• Process all ERS and EOB payments
• Log all posted payment batches on Batch Control Log.
• Post personal payment batches.
• Post zero payment batches to appropriate accounts.
• Promptly notify insurance company to identify any payments received without proper identification of patient account.
• Balance batch totals to daily deposit totals.
• Assists patients and/or responsible party with billing or insurance questions.
• Provides back up support to receptionist desk, as needed.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills
• Proficient keyboarding skills

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Work is performed in an office environment. Must be able to work in a fast paced, high volume work environment.
