Inside Salesperson
  • Journey Payroll & HR
  • Fort Collins, CO OTHER
  • When you take a team of people who delight in providing exceptional customer service, and you add leading edge technology solutions for clients, and you add to both of those an industry leading client retention rate, and then add in values of Heart, Innovation, Honesty, Believing Everyone is the Favorite, and Taking the Extra Step, and you keep adding and you keep adding and you keep adding…you get the best Journey! That’s us!

    There’s no place like Journey Payroll & HR. When you do all this well - as we do - it creates explosive growth, industry accolades, and incredible opportunities for those who join our team. Our Inside Sales Manager is a newly created role, made possible by that explosive growth. We want to keep that momentum going… that’s where you could come in!

    We have an opening for an Inside Salesperson. Here’s what does NOT mean - you would not hit the streets knocking on doors, go to networking events, cold call, or be subject to high pressure quotas.

    Instead, Our Inside Salesperson Will:

    • Manage incoming sales leads and referrals
    • Manage some key referral relationships
    • Demonstrate software virtually in order to make effective sales pitches and to train current clients upgrading to new features
    • Follow up on leads, ensuring appointments are set up, meetings are followed up, and processes are followed
    • Regularly check-in with key referral partners and clients
    • Engage with prospects and clients to listen and understand their pain, and effectively communicate the value of Journey Payroll & HR products and business solutions;
    • Collaborate with outside sales and leaders.

    We Are Looking For a Motivated Hunter Who:

    • Has proven success in phone sales and appointment setting in a B2B environment; Payroll sales experience is a major plus
    • Is proficient in typical office software products and adept at learning new ones;
    • Enjoys operating independently but under direction
    • Communicates exceptionally well by making things simple and easy to embrace - particularly in explaining technology solutions
    • Enjoys a job where there will be a new experience every day, and new clients or prospects to deal with continually, and new solutions to become proficient in regularly.

    This is not the right opportunity for those who:

    • Don’t understand consultative selling
    • Aren’t interested in looking for creative ways to help prospects
    • Lack a sense of urgency or move at a slow, methodical pace
    • Want a narrowly-defined job with clear-cut lines of responsibility
    • Struggle with or resist change
    • Can’t empathize with the unspoken and often unanticipated needs of busy clients

    We expect to be accepting applications through the month of March.

    In addition to base pay at an annualized rate of $50,000, there is a quarterly bonus potential of $1,000 to $5,000
