We are looking for a Part-time Payroll Timekeeper to assist with our payroll process. This person must be skilled in working with excel, be able to prioritize time-sensitive matters, and the ability to work with a team in a high paced industry.

The right person for this role: experienced, highly organized, individual who is able to work in a fast-paced environment. This person must be professional, friendly and well spoken. Having an excellent memory, along with communication and organizational skills are critical for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Review staff time sheets and verify hours
• Communicate with staff regarding discrepancies
• Maintain positive staff relations while navigating payroll
• Review notes and documentation to make sure the notes reflect the time reported on the time sheet
• Review district mandates to ensure accuracy in service delivery
• Communicate accurate hours to the payroll director
• Assist in rectifying payroll errors and omissions etc.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience required
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and ability to easily learn to use new software and programs
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and follow-up skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
• Extremely organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
