This role is instrumental in managing the end-to-end payroll processes for our diverse clientele. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience, a comprehensive understanding of payroll policies, federal and state labor compliance, and overtime laws across multiple states. The ideal candidate will not only excel in executing day-to-day payroll functions but also be able to multi-task while staying organized and accurate, managing payroll for multiple clients.

Job Essential Responsibilities:

· Execute day-to-day payroll operations, managing weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly client payrolls across multiple states.

· Navigate intricacies such as wage garnishments and payroll deductions with meticulous attention to detail.

· Collaborate with clients and their business partners to define, establish, and optimize payroll processes and procedures.

· Implement controls to ensure a well-mitigated risk environment for the client.

· Assist with implementation of new payroll clients as needed, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal integration into existing systems.

· Conduct routine audits and analyses of client payrolls, ensuring continuous accuracy and proactively contributing to the evolution of processes.

· Address client requests with flexibility and responsiveness, showcasing a commitment to client satisfaction.

· Provide input to Payroll Manager to continually help refine comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for payroll processes, ensuring a structured framework for consistency and excellence.

· Work alongside, assist, and provide training to fellow colleagues on payroll principles and client-specific processes, fostering a culture of shared expertise.

Experience:

· 3 years of hands-on experience in a Payroll role a strong plus.

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a similar field is a bonus.

· Strong working knowledge of payroll policies, federal and state labor compliance, and overtime laws in multiple states.

· General understanding of accounting principles.

· Highly proficient in using payroll software.

· Ability to work in multiple payroll systems in conjunction with one another.

· High level of accuracy with minimal errors in all work.

· Ability to work closely with internal and external individuals in a professional manner.

· Ability to work in an environment of continuous process improvement.

· Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks at a time with minimal supervision.
