Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Description:

The Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk at Next Level Medical is responsible for processing and managing the organization's accounts payable transactions. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, this role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records that reflect our core values of Service-Excellence, Teamwork, Integrity, Innovation, and Compassion.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents for accuracy and completeness

• Process and record accounts payable transactions in a timely and accurate manner

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues

• Prepare and process check runs and electronic payments

• Assist in the month-end closing process and generate related financial reports

• Maintain vendor files, ensuring proper documentation and organization

• Support the Accounting Manager and other team members with various projects and tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and accounting software

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

FLSA Status:
