PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Responsible for assisting student grade reporting, verification of grades, credits, and transcripts etc., also responsible for assisting the Payroll Accounting and administrative office and provide clerical services to staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
TEA certification requirements
High School Graduate or GED
Ability to type 45 words per minute (60 or more words per minute is preferred)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Computer input experience
Knowledgeable in all areas of grade reporting
Knowledgeable of modern business practices and procedures
The ability to maintain confidentiality with delicate information
The ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with all district employees as well as the general public
The ability to write clear
The ability to carry out instructions and develop comprehensive plans with a minimum of supervision
Needs to be self motivated, self-confident, self-assured, a people person, ready to organize, prioritize and develop rules and deadlines accountable to the office.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Assist registrar with maintenance of all Academic Records. (Cum Folders)
- Make copies of records for daily mail out.
- Notify teachers of transfer grades for withdrawn student.
- Notify teachers of incomplete and missing grades.
- Posting of Labels….ACT, SAT, TAKS and AAR Transcript Labels.
- Assist in registering and requesting records for students daily.
- Assist students, parents, counselors, principals and government agencies.
- Assist in mailing out Progress Reports and Report Cards every reporting period.
- Create new folders and transcripts of new to the district students.
- Assist with obtaining edit sheets for missed punches and absences.
- Inputting information to the Kronos/Region One.
- Processing timesheets for bi-weekly and paraprofessionals.
- Performs all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or to others.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Computer, printer, copier, fax machine, calculator, telephone and shredder
WORKING CONDITIONS: Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
- Maintain emotional control under stress, repetitive hand motions, prolonged use of computer
