Job Summary:

As a Payroll Clerk, you will compile and post employee time and payroll data, computing employees work time.

This is a hybrid position; candidate must reside in MN.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Compile employee time, and payroll data from time sheets.
• Review time sheets, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
• Distribute and collect timecards each pay period.
• Keep track of leave time, such as vacation, sick leave for employees.
• Process and issue employee pay statements of earnings and deductions.
• Process W4 and Direct Deposit into payroll software.
• Perform customer service functions in person, by phone or by email assisting PICS’ customers with their questions or requests, or by directing them to the appropriate resource.
• Assist with ensuring responsive customer service by following up any request or issue to resolution.
• Payroll - Drop expenses, mileage reports and timesheets into Share Point from scan drop folder.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Payroll experience preferred.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required; some college preferred.
• Must be well-organized and detail-oriented to complete work correctly and in a timely manner.
• Analytical, investigative, and organizational skills.
• Must have strong communication skills (listening, speaking and writing).
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Microsoft skills (Excel, Word).
• Strong ten key skills.
