We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team.

Position Overview: We are looking for a Payroll Clerk to efficiently and accurately manage our payroll processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll procedures, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining payroll accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Payroll Processing:
• Accurately process payroll for employees on a regular basis.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Handle all aspects of payroll, including timekeeping, tax deductions, and benefit deductions.

• Recordkeeping:
• Maintain and update employee payroll records.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll data.
• Generate and distribute payroll reports as needed.

• Compliance:
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and labor regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of payroll-related tax filings.
• Support audits related to payroll and employee compensation.

• Communication:
• Address payroll-related inquiries from employees.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll issues.
• Ensure that all payroll changes and updates are accurately documented.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant college coursework or certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Previous experience in automotive or dealership payroll is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
