Additionally, Payroll Clerk, Sr. responds to pay-related inquiries from staff. Researches and resolves errors or omissions. May prepare and submit reports and forms required by IRS or other regulatory bodies. Follows all processing procedures, adheres to policies, and maintains confidentiality. Pay:
This is an exempt/salary position. The pay range is $50,000 - $70,000. Pay may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
Location/Travel Requirements: This position is located in our Rapid City, South Dakota corporate office.
Job Summary
This position is responsible for computing, classifying and recording financial transactions to ensure the financial records of the organization are accurate. The accountant also performs routine financial calculations and general ledger duties. This position will provide support to the Controller with the monthly close process, accounting and analysis for contracts and job costs, and accounting research. This position must perform all of this work while abiding by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
