As a Full-Time Exempt Payroll Process Manager, you will perform functions necessary to prepare and summarize the college’s payroll. You will prepare reports required for state, federal, and other agencies (i.e., PERS, SAIF, collective bargaining). You will work with a high degree of independence and responsibility.

 Umpqua Community College is located in beautiful Southern Oregon between the mountains of the Cascade Range to the east and the Coastal Range to the west. • Associate’s degree or a combination of education and experience commensurate with job duties. 
• Three (3) to five (5) years of bookkeeping and/or payroll experience or formal training with a majority of emphasis on payroll.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of office experience. 
• Working knowledge of Oregon and federal payroll laws and reporting requirements. 
• Three (3) years of experience with computerized office systems.
• Three (3) years of experience using Microsoft Excel
