PC Maintenance Technician installs, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals. Resolves internal user problems and ensures correct operation of personal computers. Being a PC Maintenance Technician maintains parts inventory and logs all service/repair activity. May perform system setups for new hires. Additionally, PC Maintenance Technician may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a project leader or supervisor. The PC Maintenance Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Purpose of your job position:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repair and maintenance of hospital equipment, machinery, furniture, buildings, air conditioning system, heating system, electrical system and refrigeration system. Completes all paperwork in a timely manner. Assists in the orientation of new employees when required. They will follow hospital policy and procedures. Additional job duties or functions, not related to Maintenance, may be requested per administration to assist in other areas of the hospital within their capabilities.
