- System Administration: Manage, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services.
- Infrastructure Design: Design and implement server solutions to support business operations, including virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and resource utilization, implementing optimizations as needed.
- Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures, including patches, updates, and compliance with organizational policies.
- Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Troubleshooting: Provide advanced troubleshooting for hardware, software, and networking issues, resolving incidents in a timely manner.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Mentoring: Provide guidance and training to junior systems administrators and other IT staff.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams and stakeholders to support projects and initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 7 years of experience as a Systems Administrator, with a strong focus on Windows Server.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server technologies, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with backup and restore technologies such as CommVault and Veeam
- Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
- CompTIA Network or similar networking certifications
