    Summary:

    With a focus on innovation, customer satisfaction, and market leadership, we are seeking a dynamic, gritty and hungry Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller to oversee various aspects of financial management and reporting. Reporting directly to the Controller, the Assistant Controller will play a pivotal role in managing the monthly close process, controlling expenses, and performing other essential duties within the accounting department.


    Key Responsibilities:

    - Lead monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. 

    - Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.

    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any questions or issues.

    - Manage the receivable and payment process. 

    - Develop and implement structured reporting.

    - Analyze spending patterns and trends.

    - Monitor budget adherence and provide financial guidance as needed.

    - Assist in the preparation of financial statements.

    - Conduct financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.

    - Prepare ad hoc financial reports and presentations for senior management as requested.

    - Maintain and enforce internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

    - Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits to provide necessary documentation and support.

    - Stay current on changes in accounting regulations and standards and ensure adherence to GAAP.

    - Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.


    Qualifications: (required and preferred):

    - Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.

    - 2-3 years of progressive experience in accounting.

    - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and financial reporting standards.

    - Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems

    - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
