    InvolvedDad is a non-profit that empowers and equips fathers with tools, strategies and services to demonstrate responsible fatherhood and become more engaged in the success of their family and children lives by providing training, coaching and peer support in a safe environment with other men. DIALOGUE ((Developing Interactions Across Generations, Leading to Optimal Unity and Empowerment) is a new program within InvolvedDad that addresses an urgent need for increased family support, emotional well-being, and effective parenting skills for boys and young men.     Job Summary

    We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Performance Improvement Specialist for the DIALOGUE program. This role involves training community-based organization practitioners to effectively engage boys and young men and equipping them with essential life skills. The position will also conduct specialized parenting workshops to empower caregivers in supporting their sons’ emotional development. This position reports directly to the Executive Director. This is a part-time independent contractor’s position, expected to require approximately 20 hours per week. This work will be performed during day and evening times and some weekends.

    Responsibilities

    1) Facilitate development and delivery of the DIALOGUE program to participants by:

    • Developing and holding workshops for boys and young men on:
    • Conflict resolution
    • Emotional regulation
    • Effective Communication
    • Personal Development Activities

    2) Offer parenting workshops

    3) Facilitate Practitioner Training

    Required Qualifications

    • At least two years of college or a high school diploma with two years years or more of relative work experience
    • Experience working with families
    • Strong facilitation skills, including the ability to engage participants, manage group dynamics, and encourage open dialogue.
    • Ability to create a supportive and inclusive group atmosphere
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Passion for empowering fathers and promoting positive family relationships.
    • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
    • Ability to work independently and organized.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling or a related field
    • Proven experience in group facilitation, preferably in a family support or fatherhood program
    • Familiarity with evidence based practices and strategies for engaging fathers and enhancing father-child relationships
    • Proficient in developing and adapting curriculum for group sessions
    • Understanding of community resources and the ability to connect participants with appropriate services

    Job Types: Part-time, Contract

    Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 20 per week
