Clark County has an immediate opening for a full-time Personnel Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate human resource functions of the County to maximize the use of human resources and maintain functions such as recruitment, personnel policies, regulatory compliance, and union labor relations. The Personnel Manager conducts research, consults, evaluates, and coordinates work for the personnel committee and other departments as requested.
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business management, public administration, human resource management or related field is required. A minimum of four years of management experience in business, industry, or government is also required. A combination of education and experience will be taken into consideration. Experience in county or municipal government and working with union negotiations and labor relations is highly desirable.
