We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to lead our client's financial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of their financial processes, from software implementation to developing financial strategies and ensuring compliance with regulations. If you possess comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, keen eye for detail, and a knack for optimizing business processes, we want you on their team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all company accounting processes and financial systems to ensure accuracy and compliance. This includes, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll
• Develop and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles to control the financial assets of the company
• Conduct audits to ensure adherence to statutory and internal financial controls by examining and analyzing accounting records
• Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels; create and promote a positive and supportive work environment
• Provides financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
• Works with external accountants to provide needed information for the annual financial statements and tax returns
• Develop budgets and perform periodic budget analyses to assess performance against expectations
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
• Ten years or more of related experience is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of national and local tax regulations, and first-hand experience with compliance reporting
• Proven experience managing payroll and streamlining accounting processes for improved efficiency
• An exemplary track record of successful financial project management
