Pharmacist Manager manages a group of pharmacists who, under the direction of a physician, compound and dispense prescribed drugs in a retail or healthcare facility environment. Oversees daily pharmacy operations. Being a Pharmacist Manager monitors and audits drug inventory, ensures compliance with all regulatory guidelines and reporting. Requires a bachelor's degree in pharmacy or a Pharm.D. Additionally, Pharmacist Manager requires Registered Pharmacist (RPh). Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The purpose of the staff pharmacist position is to review, prepare, and dispense patient medication orders. Additionally, the staff pharmacist will provide all regulatory reviews of medications compounded and/or dispensed to each patient.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) from a college or a university accredited by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy,
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Pharmacy License (RPh) in the State of Ohio, Board Certification is preferred.
