Pharmacy Service Clerk is responsible for performing daily, routine tasks in the pharmacy such as answering the phone, responding to customer requests, data entry, record maintenance, and other clerical duties. Follows organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner. Being a Pharmacy Service Clerk assists with stocking and inventory tasks. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Pharmacy Service Clerk typically reports to a supervisor. The Pharmacy Service Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD Degree; one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Reads, analyzes, and interprets common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Responds to common inquiries or complaints from guests, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Effectively and pleasantly communicates with guests, vendors and fellow associates at all times.
Performs advanced mathematical and scientific concepts as business/practice demands.
Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deals with several abstract and concrete variables. Strong attention to detail.
