Pharmacy Service Clerk is responsible for performing daily, routine tasks in the pharmacy such as answering the phone, responding to customer requests, data entry, record maintenance, and other clerical duties. Follows organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner. Being a Pharmacy Service Clerk assists with stocking and inventory tasks. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Pharmacy Service Clerk typically reports to a supervisor. The Pharmacy Service Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Graduation from High School or a GED Certificate and one (1) year of experience in the processing, preparing or reviewing of any type of legal document.
STARTING SALARY: $17.04 hourly/ $35,435 annually
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The work is sedentary and requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects; may also require repetitive motion, speaking, and visual acuity.
