Pharmacy Service Clerk is responsible for performing daily, routine tasks in the pharmacy such as answering the phone, responding to customer requests, data entry, record maintenance, and other clerical duties. Follows organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner. Being a Pharmacy Service Clerk assists with stocking and inventory tasks. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Pharmacy Service Clerk typically reports to a supervisor. The Pharmacy Service Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. AuBurn Pharmacy in Abilene, KS is looking for a dedicated Full-time Clerk. Hours of the store are 8am - 7pm, Monday - Friday, and Saturdays 9am-2pm. Shifts would be for approximately 32-40 hours per week.
The Clerk is responsible for answering phones, running the cash register, looking up prescription orders in the system, taking care of the front end of the store – cleaning, organizing shelving, helping customers with over the counter medications, and other general tasks. Additional duties may include delivery as needed.
Ideal candidates should display the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. No experience needed, will train the right person. Must have valid driver's license.
