Medic Pharmacy is a family owned pharmacy in Bryant, AR. We are seeking a licensed technician to join our team. Our goal is to have a fun and enjoyable workday, while providing exceptional customer service. We are looking for an individual that is dependable, has a positive attitude and is willing to learn.

Below are some general technician duties (just in case someone forgot!)

• Help patients who are dropping off or picking up prescription orders
• Enter prescription orders into the computer
• Create and update patients' health and insurance information in the computer
• Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with local, state, federal, and company regulations
• Communicate with insurance carriers to obtain payment for prescription claims
• Assist the pharmacist with filling and labeling prescriptions
• Communicate with prescribers and their agents to obtain refill authorization
• Maintain an awareness of developments in the community and pharmaceutical fields that relate to job responsibilities and integrate them into practice
• Assist other pharmacy technicians
• Perform and assist in special projects as assigned by management.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays

• Saturday (8:30am-1pm)

Typical end time:

• 6PM

Typical start time:

• 8:30AM

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 29 per week
