Pharmacy Technician assists a registered pharmacist with support activities and processes required to dispense medical prescriptions. Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information. Being a Pharmacy Technician receives and stocks incoming supplies. May prepare labels and routine prepacked orders. Additionally, Pharmacy Technician may be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. May require Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). The Pharmacy Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.     Pharmacy Technician - 3010 PHARMACY ADMIN - Kadlec Regional Medical Ctr-Richland

    $5,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meets required qualifications and conditions for payment.

    Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, performs technical medication dispensing functions in compliance with written policies and procedures; performs a variety of clerical and mechanical medication support duties including the servicing of automated dispensing cabinets, repackaging medications, label preparation activities, information system data entry assignments, stock maintenance functions, maintenance of computerized logs and records, and medication delivery to patient care units; performs other routine departmental support activities approved by the Pharmacy Director.
