Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information. Being a Pharmacy Technician receives and stocks incoming supplies. May prepare labels and routine prepacked orders. Additionally, Pharmacy Technician may be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. May require Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). The Pharmacy Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. - Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy abbreviations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) is highly desirable
